Parent Training

Become your child's most consistent teacher. We're help you feel ready for that role!

Our parent training programs are designed to give families the tools and knowledge they need to continue fostering development at home. Through workshops, individualized sessions, and support groups, we teach parents how to apply ABA principles in real-life situations, reinforcing the strategies used in therapy. These programs focus on developing skills in positive reinforcement, behavior management, and communication techniques, empowering parents to confidently support their child’s progress and create an enriched, supportive home environment.

Free Parent Training & Learning Resources

Beyond our own programs, we've curated a library of free, evidence-based resources so you can keep learning between sessions. Whether your child is just starting therapy or has been receiving services for years, working through one new resource a week — paired with consistent practice — can make a meaningful difference.

Review & Practice

Focus on one new strategy at a time, and practice it during everyday routines like meals, bath time, dressing, and play. Celebrate small successes — progress is built one step at a time. Ask your Growing Minds therapist to demonstrate strategies during sessions so you can practice them at home, and keep a notebook of questions and observations to bring to your next parent coaching session.

Growing Minds ABA believes therapy works best when clinicians and families work together. Parent coaching helps your child learn faster, and generalize skills — at home, at school, and in the community.
